How do you know when it’s time to hire a daily money manager for yourself or a loved one
such as a parent?
Well, perhaps it is a bit like seeing the doctor, and the doctor asks you to rate your pain on a
scale of 1-10. When you are feeling overwhelmed by the demands and responsibilities of daily money management – in other words, your pain level is pretty high, maybe 7-10 – you should consider alternatives and solutions.
Some of the warning signs you may be experiencing include:
Mail not picked up, sorted and processed.
Late fees on credit cards and other bills.
Letters from collection agencies or debt collectors.
Unpaid medical bills.
Notices that credit scores have gone down.
Poor recordkeeping or lack of organization.
A home or other property not maintained to your standards.
Fraud concerns.
A “to do” list that perpetually gets longer rather than shorter.
Paying bills late at night or on weekends and wishing you were doing something else.
Completing taxes at the last minute.
Confused by gaps between what services professional advisors provide.
Family members asking for updates and no easy way to satisfy them.
Just feeling overwhelmed by daily financial management.
A daily money manager and billpay service (perhaps it should be called a “personal
bookkeeping service”) should be affordable and responsive to your needs, and should give you the peace of mind you are looking for. Contact us to discuss your needs further. Just like the doctor, our goal is to eliminate your pain and give you comfort that your daily financial
management needs – for you or a loved one – are simply handled.
